Dscene1.jpg (16820 bytes)Dallas at scene On the morning of March 17, 1998 we received an anonymous phone call urging us to attend the St. Patrick's Day Parade in downtown Kansas City. Acrowd.jpg (20976 bytes)Onlookers The caller stated that there would be a very intersesting participant in the parade and that we should be there as witnesses.  The caller hung up before we could get any more details. Dogs.jpg (10488 bytes)Restless dogs One of the first things we noticed was the unusual behavior of the dogs in the vicinity.  They seemed nervous and distracted. Dogs2.jpg (14665 bytes)distracted canines Even the trained canines in the parade were acting anxious.  There were several misques and errant barking episodes. Alenpee.jpg (19412 bytes)Alen needing relief The excitement manifested itself in my bladder and I felt the need to urinate suddenly.  Unfortunately, many others had the same urge.   Eventually I was able to relieve myself and refocus ont the case at hand. Pats.jpg (17679 bytes)Marching Fatigues Our attention was drawn to a certain entrant in the proceedings; a group calling themselves the Marching Fatigues.  Their focus was undaunted as if there was an event on the horizon. Wall.jpg (19479 bytes)Ancient etching? Dallas became mesmerized by an etching on a downtown building wall that had unusual similarities to a recent subject we had been investigating; The Hollow Earth. Asign.jpg (16121 bytes)Unusual surface deposits I noticed unusual traces of argon upon surrounding surfaces and my attention was drawn to the green haze in the sky above.  Everything from the sidewalks to the street signs seemed to be laced with this uncommon gaseous substance. Aclose.jpg (9342 bytes)Alen explains I began to explain a possible theory to Dallas on the relationship of the sky, the etching on the wall and their connection to a missing element:   "Snakids" from the mythological tales of St. Patrick and the snakes he drove from Ireland into the Earth. Snakids.jpg (29819 bytes)

Snakids are believed to be a mythological tribe of walking snakes.   Their size relates to that of children and their tails are apparently viewed only by those with a keen sense of aura.  Our digital camera apparentl captured a transluscent tail.

At this point we both directed our attention to a group now directly in front of us.  Could this be?  Were we actually standing face to face with the elusive Snakids?
